It is a huge area, with lots of different opportunities. However the first thing you should really do is to get a website.
You can then sign up to different organisations that have products you can promote. The two most popular are www.clickbank.com and www.commissionjunction.com.
I would really also recommend joining www.warriorforum.com.

I am contacting you to share with you information regarding a property we have for sale.
It is a 2025 hectare (5.004 acres) land in Cisne Medio, Austral Road, Aysén Region in the Chilean Patagonia. In the midst of a rustic environment, surrounded by mountains, it is largely covered by native untouched forest, with a 2km long interior lake and three interior valleys, bordered by the Cisnes river and crossed by the Sandoval stream.
Chile offers excellent guarantees to foreign investors, something which has been recognized internationally, it’s perfectly legal for a foreigner to buy a property. There are special regulations for foreign investments, but they are relatively simple.
Chile is a particularly safe and peaceful country, more over in the Patagonia, where in some places you can even leave doors unlocked with no fear something will happen. There is no corruption and public institutions work very well. Certain protocols are necessary for doing business here, so I would suggest you choose a lawyer buffet to assist you if you plan to invest in Chile.
There is a small village 12 kms from the property (Villa Amengual) with basic services and a runway suitable for small planes, and Coyhaique, the regional capital, is 160 kms south of the property (110 kms of which are paved). Regional plans include having the Austral Road paved by the year 2010, as well as bringing electricity and telephone services to this area.
To reach the property you must fly into Santiago,Chile. Once in Santiago, you must take a connection flight to the Balmaceda Airport, in the Aysen Region. Once in Balmaceda, there is a half hour trip to Coyhaique. The property is 2.5 hours from Coyhaique. Coyhaique has approximately 40.000 inhabitants, hospital, government offices, etc.
The property is an ideal site for an avid sports fishing fan, since it is completely isolated by important natural limits: the Cisnes river, that borders the property for 5 kms, and state-owned mountains that surround the rest of the property. To reach the property you must go across the river, but at the same time, since the river is only approximately 1 km from the Austral Road , this makes it both : an isolated place as well as a relatively easy place to reach.
Prevalent wildlife: fox, wild boar, Hurons, hares, pudu, pumas, caiquens and other regional birds. No snakes of any type (unless they can use a parka!)

Is this bad business? Was I wrong to complain? What can I do?
My three year old daughter has to wear an eye patch three hours a day to strengthen a very weak eye. She uses the strong eye and to help her focus, her weak eye crosses. If the weak eye is not used, she will eventually go blind in that eye because the brain will eventually ignore signals from it. She wears glasses but her weak eye is still crossing and not being used so it is important that we patch it so that she uses it.
We have adhesive patches we received from the doctor but it has been extremely difficult to get her to wear the patch the required time. (Playing pirates does not work but I have had some success using hand puppets as an incentive). The adhesive patches are very irritating to her though so I have been looking online for some alternatives. I live in Denmark and alternatives to the adhesive patches are just not available.
I was thrilled to find a patch that I thought would work and ordered it from a site in the UK (m’eyepatch). The only payment option they had available was paypal. I do have a paypal account but have only used it once before (I have bought things online only twice). I didn’t realize that the debit card I had listed on the account was one that I had had replaced a few months before until several failed attempts to submit the order. I also tried to order just with my credit card but kept getting directed to the paypal site. I eventually realized what the problem was, updated the card on my paypal account and submitted the order successfully.
A few days later, I received an email from paypal saying my money had been refunded. The reason from the seller was as follows: “We have cancelled your order as you have made several attempts to order from our site in recent days which we consider suspicious and possibly fraudulent. We have logged your IP address and blocked any further attempts to purchase from our site.”
I sent an email to the company explaining the situation and expressing my irritation at the cancellation note above, that they did not contact me first, and my frustration that I could not order the product for my daughter. I asked them to contact me at my work email because I didn’t check my private email often. I received the following response: “This is a small privately run and privately owned business. I am not under any obligation to accept an order from you or anyone else. Since you are so ‘appalled’ by my decision to cancel your order, you would be better off shopping elsewhere. There are plenty of other internet retailers selling similar products. I remain suspicious about the transaction and I will not be chastised or bullied by you into reversing my decision to bar you from ordering from my own website”
I am anxious to find a product that would help my daughter and was quite upset when the order was cancelled. To then get this email was even more upsetting. I have seen somewhat similar items for sale from US sites and I know I should just order something else (the additional taxes and duties are a moot point ofcourse) but to be refused to be able to purchase something my daughter needs and then to be suspected of fraudulent activities with no opportunity to prove that is not the case is just annoying. What would you do? How could they have handled the situation better?

I’m responding to this cancellation. I attempted to order and could not understand why my transactions would fail. I finally realized that the credit card on my paypal account was an old one and that I had to update the card on my paypal account. Simple as that. I’ve only ever used my paypal once so it is surely understandable.
To say that I’m annoyed that I wasn’t contacted before the order was cancelled is an understatement. I am trying to order an eye patch for my three year old daughter who needs it. I find the following statement made to be extremely insulting and am appalled: “We have cancelled your order as you have made several attempts to order from our site in recent days which we consider suspicious and possibly fraudulent. We have logged your IP address and blocked any further attempts to purchase from our site”.

Basically you are saying that I cannot order the product that my daughter needs and I find this extremely frustrating and upsetting. It’s hard enough trying to get a little girl to wear a patch for three hours a day but when you finally find something that you think might work and you are basically barred from ordering it is beyond belief.

I run a small business (in Denmark) and it is the business owner’s right to cancel an order. In this case, however, the reply is rude and unprofessional. My standard reply to cases where I suspect fraud is either to offer a, for me, more secure payment option or to simply state that unfortunately it is against company policy to accept a payment that has been rejected several times by the payment system provider. Even with the obvious nigeria scammer, I always refrain from mentioning words like “fraud” or “suspicious” etc. In the unlikely event that I am mistaken and am accusing a customer of something he or she is not guilty of.
Unless you were being rude in your e-mail to the online shop, there is no way you could have handled the situation better. Credit cards expire, and I’ve done the same mistake as you, not realizing that it was still my old credit card registered to a certain payment site.
Take your business elsewhere, it is the internet shop’s loss, not yours.

Ok – I work with hundreds of small businesses each day and assist them in building their online presence. In fact my company motto is “We Put Web Sites to Work”. My company is established as a local expert in Internet marketing.
After years of doing this and constant recommendation that I take my knowledge out to the world beyond the confines of my practice, I am slowly building channels wherein I can express my opinion on various topics involving small business and the web. We have begun our effort under the umbrella of “Employ the Web”, our blog which contains articles and soon videos and a podcast.
Ultimately, however, the challenge is in the formula needed to position yourself as an expert in, for example, local small business marketing. How should my precious 3 hours per day that I can allocate to such promotion be allocated? Where? To be specific, let’s just assume this allocation is all for online promotion.

The tried and true is actually offline: write a book, get published in industry magazines and give speeches at conferences. Eventually you might be able to do it all online like you are currently doing with blogging, podcasts, etc. But there are too many baby boomer technophobes out there still. Good luck.

I tend not to get over concerned if what I am doing can increase my productivity. I stick only with large trustable companies (for example Windows Live Hotmail for my free e-mail service).
After registering with what I call a large trustable site, I go to my account settings page and never give information in my profile unless its 100% necessary. Like for Name, I’d just use my initials. For Date of Birth, I fake it. They don’t NEED to know (they probably don’t use it anyway), but why to give just for an e-mail account…
I don’t fill in any “personal interests” in their sign-up forms. Basically I keep it minimal, just enough to use the service.
For Hotmail, I never see their adverts either since I use Windows Live Mail (the program) to access my mail. Http://download.live.com/
I also avoid signing up to multiple sites unnecessarily, and uncheck all those boxes that say do you want your info shared with carefully selected marketing companies – hell no!
At the same time, if I was too restrictive with my online activities, I’d get no where and learn less.

Is there something that you bug your friends because when you get on the topic you talk about it way too much?
Lets say that its skate boarding. You setup a web page then you search for affiliations on the topic of SB. You can offer SB equipment, training videos, books, funny tshirts with SB sayings on them, etc etc.
Then you need to get attention to your site. You can try out and write reviews on everything you offer on your site. You can link to news and how-to articles about SB. You can add a discussion forum about SB, you can do a newsletter that people sign up for which covers hot golf news items (and mentions new items in your shop). Do you begin to see why it needs to be something you love?
Some good affiliate programs are Amazon.com or CafePress.com
With CafePress you can create your own items and open an online shop. Do you doodle? Or are you a smart mouth with a witty comment for everything (or know one?) then you can make tshirts and bumperstickers. Do you write? Then do a book. Do you record strange sounds or make music? Then do a CD. CafePress allows it and there is no cost for a basic shop.
The only internet biz that works is one you are interested in enough to do the work on it. So pick a subject. Then come back and ask “How do I make an internet site (and some money) around my interest in xxxxxxxx”.

Those few stories you’ve come across are the “only” stories of teens selling ideas and making “big money”. Nowadays people aren’t coming up with new ideas, they’re coming up with ways of making old ideas better.
You should just do it yourself, whatever the idea is. If you need funding, start knocking on doors of large companies that you feel would have the most absolute interest in your idea. Some type of patent should probably be obtained before disclosing all of your big ideas though, there’s no need for you anymore after you open your mouth to them.
This would require lots of research. Honestly, you gotta know someone who’d be willing to take a risk with you. It’s not about what you know but who you know.

have you ever heard of herbal life products? if you did, do they work?
herbal life is kinda of an MLM company, you can’t find their products in any stores, u have to buy them throw a representative… and he’ll usually try to get you into their business of adding more people to their list,
their marketing plan is too persuasive, cause the person that sells to you is usually a friend who just got caught up in it!
a close friend of mine just starting working with them and using the products… he is too persuasive and wants me to try the shake to loose some weight!..
their representatives keep saying that the shake doesn’t have any side effects, and doesn’t effect any allergies… and so many other things… that made me a suspicious
I never heard something positive from anyone who is not doing the business (trying to sell to me).. most of the people who use it are the same people who are trying to sell it

You are better off walking and drinking water and eating right lots of veggies cut out bread and lower your carbs . Simple and just get plenty of rest . Same here, I think it’s the best company in the world, both as a customer and a business builder. The products have helped my son tremendously in his dealing with autism. The company is completely honest and reputable. The products are the safest out there; in it’s entirety, 20+ years, there’s never been a documented death or hospitalization due to the use or misuse of their products. How many companies can say that?! I see people on my team advancing all the time, we have several just on my team alone, that are making several thousands of dollars a month, allowing them to quit their jobs, after only a couple of years doing the business. I have already found my work at home company but I try to research others to make up a list of legitimate ones for others. Is it really free? And what kind of information do you have to give them to sign up? Also what exactly do you do? And don’t tell me it’s not an mlm, because you do make a profit from other business builders commissions also. I read the website! I do see they are a member of the BBB but they are still very new and any new company could still be a scam.

Wow, that’s amazing you mentioned True Noni. I just signed up for Yahoo Answers and I am surprise other people have heard of them too.
To answer your questions, yes it is absolutely free to join their program and they gave me a free web site to send customers to buy Noni on-line. Tru Noni then drop ships the order to my customers that is great because I have no inventory to store. All order have UPS tracking numbers so I have yet felt like they can pull a fast one over me because everything is done on-line including the sales reporting.
I have found it really easy to do because in my area there are a lot of Tahitian Noni juice drinkers that see my car magnet and go on-line and buy it from me without ever meeting them. They try Tru Noni because its pure and the price is even lower than the retail stores in my town like GNC.
I don’t think they are a traditional MLM company, but offer what they call a 2-tier Affiliate program that allows some people to make more money if they choose share with others the business opprotunity.
From what I remember in my Amway days, MLM products tend to be expensive and MLM companies expect you to recruit more distributors. I haven’t gotten the feeling that is what Tru Noni wants us to do. They suggest sharing with people Noni juice at a reduced price.
Finally, I don’t think they would have been accepted into the BBB program if they were scammers. I did contact the Bay Area chapter before I joined and they have a clean record. You can do the same if it helps you with your list. I also looked at their Yahoo Merchant rating and they have received an average of four and a half stars out of five. I know they are the real thing, but with so many MLM and on-line businesses that ask you to take surveys or ask for money upfront it is hard to really know who to trust.

Im into this business called GDI domain and I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find a real legit email leads for my business. Im having a hard time trying to find an honest email services that dont charges me a bundle for some extras add on features. They dont understand when I say email leads! I am not sure there is a true way to build a MLM. I have just started a direct sales business after doing some research on MLM, and I just couldn’t see it being worth the time and effort for a single product line. They all have something good and probably really worth marketing, but the value! The value for the dollar, I don’t see it. I want to be able to give something to the public that even the average family can afford and know that they are really saving money. If you are that frustrated with your MLM, maybe you should look into something that is really worth pursuing and that won’t hurt anyone if it doesn’t work out. What is the most lucrative side of real estate and why? I have heard being the employer broker is the most lucrative for residential real estate but is commercial more lucrative then an employer broker for residential sales( if true)? If commercial is more lucrative what part specifically? Is high end residential more lucrative then “average” commercial position?

Residential real estate is more lucrative for an employee because in commercial most transactions are conducted by businesses. This is to say a commercial landlord is likely not to use a sales agent to lease or sell property. Most of them have signs that say vacancy or rental/sale etc….call # and it could be a management company already in the office building etc. I wouldn’t even consider selling the whole complex as a job. Plus if you worked for that company, you could be the sales manager. You wouldn’t need to be a public real estate agent.

I no longer work from home but when I was a single mom I did, for several years. I am very knowledgeable on this topic because I spent 6 years researching and investigating over 50 work at home options. I have published articles, guides and reviews on this topic. I am happy to share some information that will help guide you in the right direction as well as give you the websites for a couple companies I have found to be more than reputable. However, no matter what, lesson number one is always do your due diligence. Thoroughly research any company you are considering and ask questions!
People are looking for work from home and the biggest problem is they don’t understand that there really are no work at home JOBS other then remote call center work. This is a viable option but there are some significant down sides to this. You are required to pay a fee, usually about $50, for a credit and background check, and if you don’t meet their criteria you will be out that $50 bucks. Also you have to have a 100% quiet work environment and the pay is pretty low. Most people are not able to make more than $100 a week at best. With all these negatives there are a couple legit call center jobs you can do from home and I will cite them in my profile to the left. However, most people aren’t looking for call center work.
The best way to earn an income from home would be to open your own legitimate home business. Small home businesses have increased in the last 5 years by about 200%. The best home businesses to start are those with a proven plan in place like Avon or Mary Kay however if you are like me, you are not interested in pushing products so let’s skip that.
Legitimate small home businesses should have a small cost involved but be careful, all the scams will be charging too so KNOW the business. Talk to a REAL person and ask questions. Less than $150 – $200 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $600 – $1000 or more. If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN don’t walk the other way! They never are in the end. (For those who want a home business for free, rethink that idea. I’ve never seen any business, home or not, that was free to own. If every business was free, everyone would have one.)
Alright so here are some things to look for in a home business. Ask the following questions and MAKE SURE you have a real person to talk to. If you can’t get a real person on the phone, walk away.
1. Are you rated with the BBB? (They should have C or better. Just because they have complaints or not a perfect A rating, doesn’t mean they aren’t a good company. ALL companies get complaints, it’s the manner in which they resolve them that determines their character.)
2. Are you a member of the US Chamber of Commerce?
3. Are you in good standing with Dunn and Bradstreet? (The credit agency for businesses)
4. Are your start up costs less than $200?
5. Who would be training me? (If it’s a “call center” type of call an “800 number” for help, that’s no good. You want to be trained by another business owner within the company. How can someone in a call center train you on something they themselves are not doing?)
6. How do you pay your business owners? (paper checks from a Federally Insured bank and/or direct deposit through a Federally Insured bank should be the answer. No “paypal”, money orders, cash or anything like that.
7. What National Publications can I find you in? (If they have a good rep, you should be able to read up on it somewhere)
8. Do you have any Fortune 500 partners or endorsements? (If Fortune 500 companies partner with them, you can bet they are legit because Fortune 500 Companies have lawyers that make millions a year making sure they only do business with reputable companies.)
9. How long have you been in business? (Definitely should be over 5 years, over 10 is even better)
10. Do YOU own a home business with this company as well?(If the answer is no, ask for the name and number of someone you can talk to who works with the company so you can get a good feel of things. If they refuse to provide it, walk away.)
No matter what you decide, AVOID these top 5 work at home scams.
